I’m Lizzie; a 90’s born, art and music loving conversation enthusiast and dog-mum.
I have been living in Barcelona since 2016, and I now live in my favourite neighbourhood with my partner and podenco!
I come from a family of creative and curious minds who love learning, travelling, creating and connecting with people from all over the world.

Want to know a little more?
Since I was a little girl, I have always been so eager to learn about people from around the world, their life experiences, their languages and the geography that surrounds them.
My favourite book when I was little was called ‘Children from Around the World’, a non-fiction book talking about a typical day in the life of children from all over the world. I always knew that I’d want my career to be focused on something that involves working with others from around the world.
It’s probably no surprise that I love travelling (27 countries and counting!) and I now speak Spanish fluently and a little bit of Catalan (but I have to admit that I understand Catalan better than I speak it! I’m working on it – ho prometo!).
I am a TEFL, CELTA and DipTESOL qualified EFL teacher with 10+ years of experience, teaching across many different nationalities and contexts. But, my professional experience is not the only thing that helps me help you.
I am neurodivergent. In 2023, I was diagnosed with ADHD. My brain is wired quite differently to others, and I am very proud of that and believe it has given me a very unique perspective on teaching and connecting with people, as well as focusing on details and making sure every client feels understood in their uniqueness.
Why should you work with me?
Combining both my expertise and life experience, I coach you and help you realise you can be part of any conversation. We practise navigating deeper, more interesting and meaningful topics in English that represent you in your personal and societal sphere.
We work together, creating an ecosystem of essential, useful and intriguing words and expressions that will serve you and your English interactions.
Why focus on conversation?
Through conversation, we find out where we belong in the world and which schools of thought we tend to follow. Conversations are the only consistently available vehicle to express love, curiosity, enthusiasm, forgiveness, disagreement, agreement, blame, kindness and empathy.
Conversations guide us through our human experience, whether pleasant or sometimes unpleasant, we remember them and learn from many of them.
