The Roundtable is where good conversation, hot topics and immaculate vibes come together to bring your an English class you actually look forward to.

Each month, four students come together for four 75-minute classes built around real ideas — current affairs, philosophy and ethics, culture + society. Before each session, you vote on the topic. Then we watch a short video, read an article, listen to a podcast, or simply consider some thought points — and dig in.

No textbooks. Just sharp, stimulating conversation in a small group where every voice counts.

Small enough to feel safe. Intimate enough to go deep.

Group size: Maximum 4 students
Classes: 4 × 75 min per month (if there are 5 class days in the month, we skip the 5th and take a well-earned break ❤️)

For conversation coaching, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Para el coaching conversacional, tengo una política de cancelación de 24 horas.

That means that if you cancel or request a reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will lose that session.

To avoid this, it is advised that you always double check your shcedule to make sure there are no discrepancies.

PAYMENT

Payment for the month must be received before your first class of that month begins. All payments are made via bank transfer (preferred) to a Spanish account or Bizum (CONCEPT: CLASES DE INGLÉS). Your place in the group is only confirmed once payment has been received.

El pago del mes debe realizarse antes de que comience tu primera clase de ese mes. Todos los pagos se realizan mediante transferencia bancaria (preferido) a una cuenta española o por Bizum (CONCEPTO: CLASES DE INGLÉS). Tu plaza en el grupo solo queda confirmada una vez recibido el pago.

COMMITMENT & REFUNDS

Once payment has been made, this is a monthly commitment — just like a gym membership. No refunds will be issued for missed classes or unused sessions. However, there is absolutely no obligation to continue the following month.

COMPROMISO Y REEMBOLSOS

Una vez realizado el pago, este supone un compromiso mensual — igual que en un gimnasio. No se realizarán reembolsos por clases perdidas o sesiones no utilizadas. Sin embargo, no hay ninguna obligación de continuar el mes siguiente.

CANCELLATION

If you decide not to continue, simply let Lizzie know before the end of the current month so your spot can be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

Si decides no continuar, comunícaselo a Lizzie antes de que finalice el mes en curso para que tu plaza pueda ofrecerse a la siguiente persona en lista de espera.

MISSED CLASSES

Life happens. If you miss a class, your spot in the group remains yours. And so you don’t miss out completely, you’ll have access to the class notes and the option to send Lizzie a voice note — maximum 5 minutes — sharing your thoughts on the topic. She’ll listen and reply with some personal feedback just for you. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

La vida pasa. Si faltas a una clase, tu plaza en el grupo sigue siendo tuya. Y para que no te lo pierdas del todo, tendrás acceso a las notas de la clase y la opción de enviarle a Lizzie una nota de voz — máximo 5 minutos — compartiendo tus reflexiones sobre el tema. Ella la escuchará y te responderá con feedback personalizado. Por favor, permite un plazo de hasta 72 horas para recibir respuesta.

GROUP SIZE

Each group has a maximum of 4 students. If a group is full, you will be placed on the waiting list and contacted as soon as a spot becomes available.

Cada grupo tiene un máximo de 4 alumnos. Si el grupo está completo, pasarás a la lista de espera y se te contactará en cuanto haya una plaza disponible.

SCHEDULE

The Roundtable runs 4 classes per month. In months where there are 5 sessions, the 5th session will be taken as a break.

CALENDARIO

The Roundtable se imparte en 4 clases al mes. En los meses en los que haya 5 sesiones, la quinta sesión se tomará como descanso.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS BY THE ROUNDTABLE

In the unlikely event that a class needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, you will be notified as soon as possible. Any class cancelled by The Roundtable will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

En el improbable caso de que una clase deba cancelarse o reorganizarse, se te notificará lo antes posible. Cualquier clase cancelada por The Roundtable se reprogramará en un horario conveniente para ambas partes.

CONDUCT

The Roundtable is a respectful, open-minded space. Students are expected to engage constructively and treat all members of the group with courtesy. The Roundtable reserves the right to remove any student whose conduct is deemed disruptive to the group, without refund.

The Roundtable se reserva el derecho a retirar a cualquier alumno cuya conducta se considere perjudicial para el grupo, sin derecho a reembolso.

PRIVACY

Your personal details — including name, email address, DNI/NIE and address — are collected solely for administrative and invoicing purposes and will never be shared with third parties.

I accept both Spanish and international bank transfers. If your bank adds any transfer fees, they’ll be your responsibility to pay.

Acepto transferencias bancarias tanto nacionales (españolas) como internacionales. Si tu banco aplica alguna comisión, será tu responsabilidad cubrirla.

I will provide my bank details to you personally via an acceptance email for each course. For Spanish legal purposes, each client will be asked to provide their full name, ID number (DNI/NIE in Spain), and their address (number, street name, post code and city). This is a legal requirement by Spanish law that allows me to create an invoice. For each service provided, you will receive an invoice within 48 hours.

Te enviaré mis datos del banco personalmente por correo de confirmación una vez que tu plaza esté aceptada. Por motivos legales en España, se pedirá a cada cliente que facilite su nombre completo, número de identificación (DNI/NIE en España) y dirección completa (número de edificio, nombre de la calle, código postal y ciudad).
